Delegates from our previous DACs have not only always taken advantage of all the learning opportunities, they have also taken advantage of all the fun! This year will be no exception. We’ll be visiting the Summerhill Pyramid Winery, taking a private hiking tour up Knox Mountain with a boxed picnic lunch, we’ll enjoy a private wine-and-food paired culinary class at Mission Hill Family Estate and we’ll even test our luck at the casino. For those who love sports, we’ll be having a curling funspiel and a sponge-ball street-hockey tourney (“Car!”). You can’t get more Canadian than that.

Of course, the DAC is excellent for all the networking opportunities. New attendees will enjoy the DAC First Timer’s Welcome Reception as well as the DAC Opening Reception. We’ll be celebrating the
Top Canadian Financial Professionals and mingling with this year’s recipients of the DAC Young Advisors Awards and Distinguished Advisor Awards. Also, the esteemed graduates of the Master Financial Advisor program will be recognized and will receive their pins during this event.

We’ll finish the DAC with a huge gala to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. It will take place at an old apple packing plant, the Laurel Packing House. Conveniently located across the street from the Grand Okanagan Resort, it’s a unique location that highlights the area’s history. This year we will be holding a variety show, featuring entertainment and a sit-down dinner inspired by fresh local cuisine. Don’t miss this great evening of true Canadiana!

Be sure to visit our website often as we continue to build and update the agenda with outstanding networking opportunities that will introduce you to new peers and potential business colleagues from across Canada! DAC will be held at the beautiful Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna, BC, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. It is also your opportunity to earn 15 CE/CPD credits from Knowledge Bureau, IIROC and Insurance Councils.

We would also like to thank our partners who help us to educate and influence Canada’s elite tax and financial advisors to serve multiple generations in a family.
