Personal Tax Bootcamp: Register for Advanced Personal Tax Update Now

Mark your calendar for Knowledge Bureau’s annual, comprehensive personal tax update, being delivered in our Distinguished Advisor Workshop (DAW) series, January 17-25, 2017. The DAW winter session will take place in six cities, including new events in Edmonton and Ottawa. This day-long certificate workshop will “shake out the cobwebs” for new and returning tax practitioners in tax, bookkeeping, accounting and financial services offices.

It is critical to know personal tax changes for the 2016 and 2017 tax filing years, to answer questions about required documentation, tax compliance and tax planning for individuals, families and multiple generations. This workshop provides everything you need to know to provide answers confidently, refer your clients to the right specialist and train returning and seasonal staff.

Evelyn Jacks, founder and president of Knowledge Bureau, and guest speakers will bring their vast knowledge and experience to this annual event, Knowledge Bureau’s most popular workshop. Topics will include a detailed review of line-by-line changes on the 2016 T1 return and the most recent updates from CRA, Finance Canada and Statistics Canada. New rules and interpretations are applied to client profiles including employees, retirees, investors, business owners and executors. There will also be outstanding networking and referral opportunities with leading advisors and sponsors.

Join us on Jan. 17 in Vancouver, Jan. 18 in Calgary, Jan. 19 in Edmonton, Jan. 23 in Toronto, Jan. 24 in Ottawa and Jan. 25 in Winnipeg.

Professionals may earn 10 CE/CPD credits and participate in important networking, marketing, technology and referral-building sessions to enhance business growth in 2017. The low tuition fees include a comprehensive Knowledge Journal of over 300 pages of information (which many prior attendees have labelled their “Tax Bible”), PowerPoint presentation, instruction, certification, accreditation, breakfast, lunch, coffee and snacks and a popular end-of-day wine & cheese reception.

Also included are pre-reading in EverGreen Explanatory Notes and a post-session online course component at a significant tuition fee saving.

Early registration discounts end on January 10, 2017. Click here for more information on how you and your peers can register. Click here for more information about January DAW.
