Exclusive Financial Survey Provides Client Insights to Advisors’ Value at DAC

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Ozy Camacho, Publisher, Investment Executive and Finance et Investissement, will provide insights from a ground-breaking survey that rates clients’ satisfaction levels with their financial advisors.

The survey will ask clients to comment on what elements of service financial advisors currently deliver that create value for them.  It’s a ground breaking survey at an important time, unveiled for the first time at DAC.

“CRM2, Robo Advisors, the transition to the millennials, market volatility; all these factors and more are changing your business,” explained Ozy to Knowledge Bureau Report.  “You need to understand what your clients value and what their expectations are if you are to continue to grow your business.”

The survey will help advisors understand client needs based on age, stages of life, and geography, what value their clients place on different types of advice and whether they think they are getting value for the fees they pay.

Ozy started her career with The Globe and Mail, the first newspaper in the world to deliver at home and online at the same time. Ozy was part of the team that implemented the dual editions.  In 1994, as the mutual fund industry was just starting to take off, Ozy joined Investment Executive officially as Sales Director, but since the whole team consisted of three staff members, that meant that she was responsible for circulation, administration, and accounting.

In 1999, Investment Executive (IE) was sold to Transcontinental Media, a Quebec media company, which allowed IE to launch Finance et Investissement (FI), a Francophone sister publication that today reaches more than 30,000 Quebec financial professionals. Ozy was an integral part of the launch of FI.

Ozy is an entrepreneur at heart and is always looking for better ways to serve the financial community in Canada.  In addition to launching FI, she launched CE Place, an aggregator of continuing education courses for advisors; IE: Money and Canadian Investment Guide magazines to help advisors educate their clients; and mobile apps and iPad editions to ensure that the organization reaches the next generation of financial professionals. In 2013, Ozy was promoted to Publisher of both Investment Executive and Finance et Investissement.
