One of 2016’s award recipients, Lindsay Sawyer Fay, says, “Receiving the Distinguished Young Advisor Award was a tremendous honour and validation of my decision to devote myself to client-focused, needs-based planning. The credibility and comfort it conveys to new families as we engage with them in the planning process is invaluable. I’m able to prominently display in our office that I’ve been recognized by such a widely respected organization, The Knowledge Bureau, and the standards it sets for our industry and profession.

Darren Ryan, an insurance and financial services professional in St. John’s, NL, shares his thoughts about attending the Distinguished Advisor Conference: “I attend two or three conferences every year, and made the excellent decision to include DAC. It was by far the most well-run conference I have attended to date. The broad range of advanced financial topics and high-profile speakers kept me engaged, while the camaraderie I established with other like-minded advisors has ensured that my first DAC conference will definitely not be my last.
