National Steering Committee on Financial Literacy Call for Members

Are you interested in strengthening Canadians’ financial literacy?

Jane Rooney, Canada’s new Financial Literacy Leader, is seeking leaders and key influencers in the public, private and non-profit sectors to join her as members of the National Steering Committee on Financial Literacy.

The Financial Literacy Leader will collaborate and coordinate the efforts of a wide range of stakeholders to implement a National Strategy on Financial Literacy. Members of the Steering Committee will play a integral role in providing advice, bringing forward ideas from the sectors they represent and ensuring effective coordination across sectors. They will also lead and report on the participation and progress of their sector or industry in implementing the National Strategy.
