Your clients may be increasingly concerned that their personal information is secure as you work with them. Are you confident that the information that you and your clients transfer between you is secure? What can you do to ensure it is?
Critical issues including breaches of company data, file security, identity theft, loss of reputation and the related legal liability are now top-of-mind, given recent high-profile cases of hacking and large regulatory data-breach penalties .
For these reasons, Knowledge Bureau is pleased to partner with e-courier.ca for the winter and spring Distinguished Advisor Workshops (DAW) in Calgary, Vancouver and Toronto, and the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC), November 6 – 9, 2016, in San Diego, CA.
A secure email and file transfer service, e-courier.ca is Canadian-owned and designed for industry professionals and their clients.
“E-courier is pleased to partner with Knowledge Bureau to help educate professionals about the importance of electronic privacy and security,” said Mr. Eric Gold, the CEO of e-courier.ca. “Knowledge Bureau recognizes that professionals, to best serve their clients, must stay at the forefront of the latest developments affecting their profession.”
Mr.Gold, explained that, “Unlike the vast majority of file sharing providers, we shroud your encryption keys. This approach precludes us from providing a ‘backdoor’ for third-parties, including e-courier and our employees, to unlock your encrypted data stored on our servers. We have ethical security considerations and prioritize the protection of your data.”
Under this approach, files and documents can be stored on an e-courier.ca server for the long or short term. The e-courier.ca secure client file and email transfer portal is based on a subscriber-tiered expiry. E-courier permits one- to seven-year expiry—or for no expiry at all. It stores all messages and files encrypted using open source cryptography libraries.
