Marco graduated from the prestigious combined JD/MBA program at the University of Ottawa, and subsequently accepted an offer to attend Osgoode Hall Law School for the Master of Laws program in Taxation (expected graduation September 2022). Marco received taxation law legal instruction from Queen’s Counsel who appeared numerous times at the Supreme Court of Canada as a member of the Department of Justice Canada, and Marco has received tax law training from very experienced senior tax counsel. Marco successfully advocated for taxpayers subject to, among others, net worth assessments, the sham doctrine, director’s liability assessments, gross negligence penalties, principal residence exemption denial, GST/HST issues, and Marco has implemented tax plans deferring tax payable.
