May 26: 3:30 PM CST – Society of Real Wealth Managers Exclusive Virtual Speed Networking Event!

Members of the Society of Real Wealth Managers, had an opportunity to Connect, Contribute and Collaborate with other likeminded RWM™ in a 1-on-1 speed networking session and was it fun! 

The object was to start relationships between multi-disciplinary advisors, with the view to exchanging professional contacts and resources outside their financial discipline to best enable collaborative wealth management solutions for clients.

May 27: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM CST –How I Talk to My Clients About Charitable Giving (Webinar)

This free event was held for advisors who recognize the value of discussing charitable giving with their clients but aren’t sure how to approach it or what to say. It provided the audience with highly practical approaches to raising the topic of charitable giving.

A panel of four specialists in charitable giving and graduates of the MFA-P™ Designation program created by Knowledge Bureau, CAGP and Spire Philanthropy came together for this important discussion. Brad Offman, MFA-P™, Serena Hak, MFA-P™,  Michael Flux,MFA-P and Mark Halpern, CFP, TEP, MFA-P™ spoke about:

  • When to talk about giving
  • What events give rise to a conversation
  • How to discuss with new/existing clients
  • Conversation starters: what to say to clients
  • How to manage objections
