Knowledge Bureau Partners with Kwantlen Polytechnic University to Offer Essential Business Skills

SURREY, BC. Knowledge Bureau, a national financial educator and Kwantlen Polytechnic University have partnered to offer essential business skills to new and graduate students in the lower mainland of BC this fall.

“Knowledge Bureau is delighted to partner in this innovative new program with KPU,” says Evelyn Jacks, founder and President of Knowledge Bureau, who will be on hand for the official opening of the program at KPU on September 24^th.  “Students will earn essential business skills required to work in the areas of tax, accounting, bookkeeping and financial services, and they can learn the entire program online at their convenience.”   

Students may earn certification in a variety of tax and wealth management courses leading to the DFA–Tax Services Specialist and the MFA–Business Services Specialist designations. Six 30-hour courses are required to earn the credentials to work in areas of the tax, accounting, and financial services, either as employees or self-employed practitioners. Students may start any time.

New graduates in the trades and professions and newcomers to Canada who choose entrepreneurship in their fields will also be interested in participating—to understand their obligations to the Canada Revenue Agency and train staff while they build their businesses.
