How would you tell your Knowledge Bureau Graduation story to a friend?

The same way I found out about the Knowledge Bureau. My colleague shared his experience on recently completing a designation with the KB, how well laid out the learning was, simple to follow, interesting content and applicable to the real world. The KB is a great platform to truly learn and retain what you’re learning. The staff is welcoming, and you feel more connected considering this is virtual learning.

Why did you decide to take a KB course?

I had interest in the MFA-P specifically, as this program differs from other designations out there.

What did you like about it?

A focused approach to more niche planning that isn’t talked about that much in our industry.

Did anything surprise you in the courses?

Overall, I would say the various ways one can do planned giving.

How will you use your new knowledge?

I will use this knowledge with the Financial Advisors that I work with, to help them explore philanthropic strategies that can be used with their clients.

How did you feel after completing your course and receiving your certificate?

Of course when you complete a goal it’s a good feeling. It’s a good time to reflect that it’s more than just a “check box” though. This is a topic that I wanted to learn more about.

What did your family think about your commitment to the program?

My family thought it was interesting to learn more about this topic of philanthropy. They were happy for me and supportive that it was something I truly wanted to do.

What is the glimpse of wisdom you can share with our readers?

Some other virtual learning platforms can feel like you’re being tricked during learning, as if it’s about mastering test taking and not learning. The Knowledge Bureau isn’t like that, as there’s real support, resources and structured learning that allows you to apply and retain what you’re learning. It’s easy to be engaged.

Would you recommend Knowledge Bureau?

Yes, hands down.
