DAC is Canada’s pre-eminent educational event for the top wealth advisors in the tax and financial services, where industry-leading speakers address today’s key technical trends and business issues.
This year when the financial services are in the crossroads of great change, industry-leading speakers will address today’s key technical trends and business issues. Can you afford to miss it? Not if you want to lead yourself, at the cutting edge.
Check out the incredible speaker roster. You will learn more about the most recent change in private sector forecasting, domestic and international tax law, economic policy making, and how regulations affect the work of professional advisors. Then strategize on how to build your career into the future, learning together with peers from across Canada.
Delegates from our previous DACs have not only always taken advantage of all the learning opportunities, they have also taken advantage of all the fun! This year will be no exception. We’ll be visiting the Summerhill Pyramid Winery, taking a private hiking tour up Knox Mountain with a boxed picnic lunch, enjoying a private wine-and-food paired culinary class at Mission Hill Family Estate and we’ll even test our luck at the casino. For those who love sports, we’ll be having a curling funspiel and a sponge-ball street-hockey tourney (“Car!”). You can’t get more Canadian than that.
Of course, the DAC is excellent for all the networking opportunities. New attendees will enjoy the DAC First Timer’s Welcome Reception as well as the DAC Opening Reception. We’ll be celebrating the Top Canadian Financial Professionals and mingling with this year’s recipients of the DAC Young Advisors Awards and Distinguished Advisor Awards. Also, the esteemed graduates of the Master Financial Advisor designation program will be recognized and will receive their pins during this event.
We’ll finish the DAC with a huge gala to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. It will take place at an old apple packing plant, the Laurel Packing House. Conveniently located across the street from the Grand Okanagan Resort, it’s a unique location that highlights the area’s history. This year we will be holding a variety show, featuring entertainment and a sit-down dinner inspired by fresh local cuisine. Don’t miss this great evening of true Canadiana!
Be sure to join us November 5-8, 2017, at the beautiful Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna, to experience a higher standard in education with unique opportunities to network and socialize. And take advantage of the Early Bird registration, which ends June 30, 2017. Register a table of six and pay only $1000 per person plus tax. You’ll also have the opportunity to earn 15 CE/CPD credits from Knowledge Bureau, IIROC and Insurance Councils.
