Distinguished Advisor Conference: Young Advisors Award Winners Announced!

Knowledge Bureau and Manulife are pleased to announce that Joseph Alfie (left), B.Com. of Myriad Private Wealth/HollisWealth in Montreal, Quebec, and Jonathan Earle, B.Sc, P.Eng, MBA, CFP®, CIM®, a financial advisor with Bell Financial/Manulife Securities Incorporated in Aurora, Ontario, have been selected as the 2017 winners of THE DAC YOUNG ADVISORS AWARD, to be awarded at the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC) in Kelowna, B.C., November 5 - 8.

The theme of the conference is “Financial Advice at the Crossroad of Change” and both Joseph and Jonathan will have a starring role as main-stage participants at the event. They will offer their thought leadership on the future of the industry from their perspective, and embellish upon their unique approach to building their client base and the obstacles they face in doing so.

ABOUT JOSEPH ALFIE

Following his studies in Finance at the John Molson School of Business, Joseph built his investment advising practice catering to high-net-worth business owners and professionals from the ground up.  As a professional with HollisWealth, he provides clients with extensive knowledge of investment management, estate and tax planning, to guide them through the different stages of their retirement plan. Joseph’s investment style is based on strategic asset allocation to ensure that portfolios can weather the volatility of the markets. In 2016, he partnered with investment advisors Marcello Naccarato and David Deckelbaum and founded Myriad Private Wealth. In 2017, they opened their office nestled in the heart of Old Montreal. When Joseph is away from the office, he enjoys training, basketball, tennis, travelling and giving his time back to charitable organizations.

ABOUT JONATHAN EARLE

Jon started his career as a Professional Engineer in the consulting industry and concurrently pursued his MBA at Wilfred Laurier University. Jon’s passion for finance grew and, when he completed his MBA, it became clear that a focus on financial planning would be his future.

Jon joined the Bell Financial Advisor Team in 2011. As a financial advisor, CFP® professional and Chartered Investment Manger (CIM)®, Jon believes that a comprehensive financial plan is essential for each and every client. Using the core values of integrity and service, Jon continues to help grow Bell Financial, primarily through unsolicited referrals.

Jon volunteers as a director for the Rose of Sharon, a local charity providing services to prenatal and parenting young mothers. He lives in Holland Landing with his wife and two young boys.
