Knowledge Bureau is pleased to announce that Steven Furtado, Mandeville Private Client Inc./Zagari, Simpson & Associates, has been selected as the 2019 winner of the Distinguished New Advisor Award. The award will be presented at the Opening Ceremonies of the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC) in Puerto Vallarta, November 10-13.
The theme of the conference is “Powerful Competition – The Secret to Economic Resilience”, presented by outstanding leaders in an incredibly rich agenda. As this year’s award winner, Steven receives an educational scholarship to this prestigious educational event. Steven will also participate in a keynote address on Day 3 of the conference.
As a young leader in the financial services, Steven has already had an impressive impact with the advisors and clients he works with and to that end, has earned a solid reputation for excellence in his profession.

The DAC New Advisor Award recognizes the next generation and their contributions to excellence in the field. Winners of the award receive a scholarship to the DAC as well as three complimentary nights at the conference hotel, national coverage of their achievements and an opportunity to network with some of their most influential peers in financial services today. ABOUT STEVEN FURTADO
Steven is an Investment and Financial Security Advisor with Mandeville Private Client Inc/Zagari, Simpson & Associates Inc. based in Montreal, Quebec. He has been an Advisor for four and a half years and prior to that was a trader. From a very early age Steven has been interested in the financial industry and has had an entrepreneurial flair. His father was an early franchisee with Cora Restaurants and Steven purchased his first stocks at age 15 based on watching his father’s business and the publicly traded companies that supplied them.
Steven has been recognized with nominations for “Young Gun of the Year” and “Rising Star of the Year”. He is also a contributor on CJAD800 in Montreal on the “My Planning Hour” Radio Program. He has also given back to his community supporting “ForUsgirls” a global initiative that supports young women and, in particular, the area of financial literacy.
He leads an active lifestyle and loves to travel, with his wife and two young daughters.
