Knowledge Bureau is pleased to introduce Murray Leiter, who has recently updated the new edition of the Elements of Real Wealth Management course.
Murray Leiter, CFP, CFA, has over 30 years of experience in the financial services and investment field. Over much of his career he has served as an investment counsellor and portfolio manager to high net worth investors, public and private foundations, charities and pension plans across Canada.
His career has also included nearly a decade serving clients of one of Canada’s foremost fee-for-service financial planning organizations. Fluently bilingual and an experienced public speaker, he has also led educational seminars for pension plan participants, retiring employees, and corporate executives.
Murray first entered the investment industry in 1983 working for a major retail brokerage firm as a registered representative.
Later, after joining a national financial planning group, he received his Chartered Financial Planner (now Certified Financial Planner) designation and also became a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
Murray is actively involved in his community, currently serving as an advisory committee member on two different pension plans in the not-for-profit sector, as well as on the finance committee of his local congregation.
