Attorney School Helps to Prepare for Incapacity of Loved Ones

Very few people have any training to help them be the best Powers of Attorney of they can be. Now advisors and their clients can learn how in a half day session hosted by top lawyers in this field.

 

 

Knowledge Bureau is pleased to partner with Tradition Law LLP to bring Attorney School to Regina, Vancouver and Toronto. Designed especially for tax and financial advisors and their clients, this half day session prepares loved ones to be Powers of Attorney. Registration ends October 10.   

Undertaking the role of Power of Attorney for a loved one can be overwhelming, especially if you don't know where to start. If you have agreed to be a Power of Attorney, prepare yourself early by learning the 8 steps you need to know. If you are an advisor, this will be an excellent event to attend with your clients to have them learn the eight-step process for doing the job of Power of Attorney. An online course can be taken after the class to consolidate knowledge, at the option of the attendee.

The objective is to come away from this workshop with guidance from the writers – top lawyers in the field who will answer your questions and help you understand your role better. The job is more complex than you think. You want to do the best possible job. You don’t want to break any rules along the way.
