Time for a Leadership Reboot: What’s Your Passion Statement?

Your passion statement is all about the “why?” When’s the last time you took the time to reconsider why you do what you do?  Whether you’re a proprietor or have leadership aspirations to grow your career, this is the driving force that is the basis of your business goals. Join Knowledge Bureau to recommit to your life’s work at November’s Business Builder Retreat.

What is a passion statement? A passion statement, or personal mission statement is the “why” that lies behind why you do what you do in your career. It what helps you find meaningful work, and ensures you don’t lose sight of your ultimate goals. It can include what you personally need to get from your role – like the feeling of helping people, the adrenaline of accomplishment, the knowledge that you’re fueling your creative energy, effectively leading a team that shares your values. It can also include what you’re able to accomplish to help your clients, and what you give back to your employees.

Your passion statement can evolve over time; however, as a business owner, it’s possible to lose sight of it. As a current or aspiring leader, refocusing on your passion statement is essential if you want to take control over your life and grow your business holistically.

“Sometimes we all feel like we are running a race around an endless track,” says Evelyn Jacks, President of Knowledge Bureau, “but taking a little time to rethink your goals with peers who have much in common with you, can boost your spirits, your energy and your passions, and that’s why we are so pleased to welcome an inspirational leader, Dan Collison, to help you reconsider your passion statement at the Business Builder Retreat.”

Building better passion statements, will be a focus of one of the many invigorating sessions taking place November 10-11, 2018, at the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC) Executive Business Builder Retreat. This exciting new concept connects you with other business builders, leaders and entrepreneurs in an open forum format, with plenty of discussion on topics critical to business growth, such as HR, technology, strategic planning, business law and marketing.

Learn more in the retreat agenda about sessions that will help inspire you, and refresh and rejuvenate you and your business growth goals; and be sure to register today – early registration for the conference and this new program ends June 15.
