Students in the News: David Foth

We love sharing feedback from our recent graduates. This week we feature the success of Mr. David Foth from Saskatoon, who recently graduated from the new T1 Professional Tax Preparation - Basic course.

After retiring from a 30-year teaching career, as well as 20 years of farming, David set up his own bookkeeping business. Seeking to expand his knowledge and expertise into more areas so he could be a better, more competent bookkeeper, and have the capability to provide an expanded service to his clients, he decided to take the basic tax course with Knowledge Bureau.

We asked David if his objectives were met. “I would have to say an astounding ‘yes!’ I learned much regarding the taxation system in Canada and have a greater appreciation of the complexities that may be involved when dealing with tax issues that people may be facing.”

Asked about overall evaluation of the course, David replied, “I would most certainly recommend Knowledge Bureau courses to anyone I meet or know personally. Even though it was hard work, the ability to take the training online and to work on course content when I had the time was a real benefit to me.”

Now David plans to complete five more tax courses through Knowledge Bureau and receive tax designation. For information about the Personal Tax preparation – T1 Basic course, click here. For information about how to become a Distinguished Financial Advisor – Tax Services Specialist, click here.
