“Manulife is pleased to continue the legacy that Standard Life began as title sponsor of the Distinguished Advisor Conference since its inception. The DAC conference provides a forum for advisors to learn, share, and evolve their businesses while experiencing relevant and timely content at the highest level of professionalism. We are proud to have been a part of the inaugural DAC Young Advisors Award and are thrilled host the panel discussion at the conference with two of our future industry leaders. Our next generation of advisors have a great responsibility and we can learn a tremendous amount from them as they bring innovative approaches and bridge the millennial gap between the past and the future of our industry.” - Barbara Foy-Pilchner, Vice President, National Accounts, Manulife Investments.

Keeley Simpson of Rorabeck Wealth Advisory Group, BMO Nesbitt Burns, and Brandon Silbermann, a financial advisor at Manulife Securities Investment Services Inc and Stockman Financial Services Ltd, were awarded prestigious plaques in commemoration of their selection as the two inaugural winners of the Distinguished Advisor Conference (DAC) YOUNG ADVISOR AWARD, sponsored by Manulife and Knowledge Bureau.

Keeley and Brandon each received a complimentary registration to the Distinguished Advisor Conference (a $1950 value), which was held November 8-11 in Canadian retirement haven, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, as well as three complimentary nights at the conference hotel (a $600 US value). They participated in a lively panel discussion on stage at the event, offering thought leadership on the future of their industry from the perspective of the Millennial Advisor.  This session provided an opportunity for national recognition of their profile and leadership.
