Re-Discovery:  Introspection Required to Meet New Demand

Are financial advisors failing the next generation?  A new survey says “yes”, as younger investors are dropping their financial advisors in favor of DIY (Do-It-Yourself) investing.  This requires introspection, especially by advisors who want to build practices for the future.  Fees are a big trigger, but looking more closely, there are two more compelling reasons which top advisors can step up to address.

Those issues include the challenges presented by housing market and the fact that has been a significant reduction in the prevalence of workplace pensions for Millennials and Gen Zs.  This is putting much more pressure on these generations, causing them to seek more control over their finances.   But they are the very issues top advisors should be helping with, in collaboration with tax specialists.  Young generations are looking to have conversations about futures and need advisors to be proactive about this.  Otherwise, the alternative is DIY.

These and other cutting issues will be explored at Virtual DAC 2021, Oct 17 – 19 by top thought leaders that have new solutions in mind.  “It’s never a small feat, but this year we are thrilled to offer the richest program ever to help advisors help their clients rediscover their financial stride,” says Evelyn Jacks, President of Knowledge Bureau and Program Director of Virtual DAC Acuity 2021. “Advisors who want to build practices for the future – and future generations - won’t want to miss this opportunity to think strategically with presidents of organizations, academics and top wealth advisors about financial survival in this new environment.”

The online conference, which takes place October 17-19 online, features eight senior executives, two best-selling authors, leading scholars and top wealth advisors.
