People in the News: David Christianson’s Managing the Bull Hits Manitoba Bestseller List!

Knowledge Bureau Newsbooks added David Christianson to our bestsellers list last week.

After his fantastic Winnipeg book launch event at McNally Robinson on February 7, Managing the Bull came in #2 on the Paperback Non-Fiction bestsellers in Manitoba.

Perhaps one of the reasons the book has resonated with audiences is its unique approach. Christianson explains how his book sets itself apart from other financial planning books in the marketplace.

"There are lots of books about investing, tax and debt management out there, but mine will help people develop their own agenda for their lives and their money, and avoid being part of someone else's agenda. It takes a no-nonsense approach, and each step can be implemented immediately," says Christianson.
"There's a lot of crap out there. We help folks cut through that, and learn to pilot their own ship, in all aspects of financial planning."

Author Gordon Pape agrees that the book speaks to consumers in an approachable, effective way.

"Funny, wise and 'down-to-earth', David Christianson respects the reader's time by presenting sophisticated strategies in clear, bite-sized pieces."
Pape said. "A timeless book of advice, you will find yourself returning to it time and again as you journey to financial independence."
