June Distinguished Advisor Workshop Agenda is Here

The agenda for the June Distunguished Advisor Workshop (DAW) is starting to fill up.... have you filled out your application form yet?

This one‐day workshop is delivered with three components; pre-reading, in-class session, and a post-session online course component (the latter is optional). The all-inclusive workshop fess also include lunch, coffee, and snacks as well as accreditation for CE/CPD purposes and certification. Earn up to 30 CE/CPD credit.

  • Tax Changes for End of Life Planning - Personal, Corporate and Trust Issues
  • Planning for Deemed Dispositions at End of Life
  • Tips, Traps and Pitfalls in CRA Relationship Management
  • Case Studies - Use of Trusts in Inter Vivos Life Planning
  • Selecting and Instructing Executors and Powers of Attorney
  •  Health Care Directives
  •  Incapacity Planning: Working with Clients who have Progressive and Terminal Illnesses
  • Case Studies - Use of Trusts in Testamentary Trust Planning

Participants will learn how individual, corporate and trust structures can assist in helping families plan for intergenerational wealth creation and transition. There will be a special emphasis on the tax-efficient transfers of assets during lifetime, at times of incapacity and at death and beyond to ensure that multiple lifetimes of asset-building are sustained.
